Let's say you are a musician and you have recorded and put together a great music CD. You have registered a good domain name and you got a lot of nice freebies to go with it (see above) and you now have your own FREE 5 page website. You'd love to try and sell your CD's but are not sure how the money will get to you. Merchant accounts tend to be quite expensive and you don't know of other ways to accept credit cards; not to mention that you do not want to spend more money on a shopping cart system. Guess what? PayPal will actually do all of that for you. When you open a PayPal account, you are able to accept credit cards, and use their shopping card system on your own web site. They will not charge you any money in advance and on every transaction they will take a very small percentage of the sale. At the time we are writing this, 1.9% - 2.9% + $0.30. There is nothing better than this anywhere. Just make sure that you deal with them and with all of your customers honestly and fairly and YOU'RE IN BUSSINESS!
